Fish & Ships is a new co-op adventure that puts a group of fish in control of an airship as they set out on a bizarre journey in search of the ocean.
The game appears to lean heavily into chaotic multiplayer fun, making it an easy comparison for players who enjoy titles such as Peak. Rather than focusing on precise teamwork alone, Fish & Ships seems designed around the kind of unpredictable moments that happen when a group of friends is given too much freedom.
Weapons also play a major role. One scene shows players using a shotgun during an encounter with an elderly character sitting outside his home, suggesting that combat can quickly become just as absurd as the rest of the game.
Guns are not the only tools available, either. The fish can pick up and throw crates from the airship, potentially using them against enemies or simply launching them at teammates. Physics-based interactions appear to be one of Fish & Ships’ biggest strengths, turning even basic actions into opportunities for unexpected chaos.

The trailer also shows the crew attempting to steer their airship through a field of floating mines. Navigating these dangerous sections while several players move around the same vessel could make cooperation just as important as surviving whatever ridiculous situation comes next.
That combination of teamwork, physics, and unpredictable multiplayer moments could make Fish & Ships especially entertaining for streaming and group play. Much of its appeal seems likely to come from watching carefully planned runs fall apart because of one badly timed shot, misplaced crate, or questionable decision from a teammate.

Fish & Ships does not yet have a confirmed release date. Players interested in following its development can add the game to their Steam wishlist for future updates.
The game was also featured as part of a broader showcase highlighting upcoming releases, updates, and DLC, with additional announcements available through the event’s full roundup.
